The Aalto EMBA 2015 participants took their 6th core module under the title of “Marketing Management Moduile” on September 20-22, 2016 at IBS premises. This module was taught by Dr. Damien McLoughlin.

Damien McLoughlin is Anthony C. Cunningham Professor of Marketing and Associate Dean at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in Ireland. Since 2011 he has been a faculty member on the Harvard Business School.

This courseIn this module we examined different angles of selling and advertising and on top of that analysing the broader task of serving customer of firm through providing them with the goods, services or ideas that best match their needs and wants. Through this course our participants were equipped with the required foundation for understanding the implications of their decision so they can develop products that customers want, set a price at which the customer will buy, realize a profit for the company, make the product available to customers in a convenient fashion and ensure that customers are aware of the products avail-ability.Beside, this course familiarized participants with the vocabulary, tools and frameworks of marketing and it developed their abilities to apply this knowledge in a variety of commercial settings.
